The Deputy Director of the Middle East and Central Asian Department of the International Monetary Fund Juha Kahkonen and industry experts visited Tashkent Institute of Finance  yesterday.

    During the visit, organized by the Institute jointly with the Central Bank of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Juha Kahkonen, Deputy Director of the Middle East and Central Asian Department of the International Monetary Fund made a report on the topic “Regional Economic Review of the International Monetary Fund in the Middle East and Central Asia” .The speaker commented on the macroeconomic stability indexes of the Middle East and Central Asia, economic growth, budget, tax and monetary policy analyzes, as well as the IMF prognoses and recommendations. At the end of the lecture with the participation of the representatives of the Central Bank of the Republic of Uzbekistan, students and doctoral students, the audience asked the questions of the lecturer and received relevant answers and useful information.
